Shooting Club
This post was stuck in draft mode for about a month - I completely forgot about it :/As a thank you to Manish for treating us to his birthday dinner, us lot went over to the Caracal Shooting Club. It is a tad bit expensive for first timers since one has to undergo the basic training that covers safety, how to hold a gun, where to point, when to shoot etc. Once you are registered member you don't have to pay for the training anymore, just the gun rental and shells. This is Manish staring at his assigned gun with the crazy look in his eyes. We felt much safer sitting out while he was in there because we didn't know what exactly was going on in his head. What if some neuron(s) misfire and override the safety mechanism in his brain instructing him to pop a cap in everyon...nevermind.
Look at him, shooting guns LIKE A BOSS
I told y'all he was crazy, he managed to get the bulls eye! (We got to keep our target sheets which were made of thin cardboard)
Next up we have Manish's younger brother, Mannan
Then it was Sharon's turn, the fact that she is allowed to drive on our roads is way scarier than her being able to shoot a 9mm gun.
I went next. Compared to other 9mm guns that I have also held and shot in the past (like the Jericho 941 and the Browning GP 35), this gun felt very light in my hands. This shooting club uses the Caracal F pistol, manufactured here in the UAE and is currently used by the AUH Police Force.
The above picture is me trying to argue with the instructor that I wanted to hold my gun sideways, just like in the movies:
But the instructor had a gun in his hand and he didn't find it funny so ...
Arjun said he was happy being just the cameraman for the day, he said he didn't want to shoot anything and that he was a very peaceful man. But then his subconscious kicked in:
And so Arjun aa gaya line pe: These 2 went for a second round of shooting. Group shot with a picture of Caracal the animal. In the end, like true bosses, we gambled and abused hard substances while Dope Boys (The Game ft. Travis Barker) was playing the background. I'm just kidding, Dope Boys wasn't playing in the background, lol
